This is the result of my only encounter with a snake, but in all fairness they are a little uncommon on and around the seashore which is where I spend most of my time, and Greenie to me will always be the Reptile Geru!
Hi Greenie Interesting you should comment about colouring, I am aware that certain birds and animals have subtle differences in colour but was unaware that this could occur with reptiles. That was my yesterdays learn something new a day. Thanks Dave

That specimen has a very light cream collar , not the more yellowy that I find at Fackenden .
